Citizen Canine

Now offered in open format!

Open format classes are designed to allow new students to start anytime! Each of our open format programs consists of 5 weeks of training, and each class is designed to 'stand alone'. This allows new students to start anytime, instead of having to wait for the beginning of the next 5-week program. In the past, if you were ready to start your training this week, but we were already in the middle of a class, you might have to wait 3-4 weeks before you could get going. But not now! Open format classes allow you to jump in anywhere and get a great education as soon as possible!

Citizen Canine - 5 weeks
For dogs 6 months old on up (or graduates of The Puppy Club), Citizen Canine students prepare to tackle some big dog issues. Citizen Canine graduates earn the prestigious "BDX" (BADDog Excellent) degree. Most graduates are ready to pass their Canine Good Citizen test. Classes are small, and focus on:
  • Basic behaviors, big-dog style
  • Attention and name recognition
  • Sit, down stay
  • Expanding the social circle - hanging with people and other big dogs
  • Getting loose - polite leash walking
  • Come when called, come what may

Semester Plan!

For those who want a little extra help, or would like to take advantage of the socialization aspects of attending group classes, then our Semester Plan may be the choice for you! Attend as many Citizen Canine sessions as you like for 3 consecutive months, and pay only $225!
