Little Rascals - 5 weeks
For youngsters 12 weeks to 9 months, or slightly older dogs who haven't been to school before. Graduates earn coveted "C3" (cherished canine companion) status. Little Rascals learn:
- The "Dog Carnegie Course", or how to meet 50 new people a week
- People aren't for chewing (managing play biting)
- Hey you! It's me! Pups learn their names, and like it!
- Basic puppy meditation (be calm and contemplate the universe...)
- Plain old sit and down
- Polite puppy interactions/safe handling techniques
- Safe handling, toys and food
- Come to momma! Recalls with enthusiasm!
- Advanced puppy social skills
- Learning to share (drop it, take it, leave it)
RUFFians - 5 weeks
For dogs 1 year old on up (or graduates of Little Rascals), RUFFians prepare to tackle some big dog issues. RUFFians graduates earn the prestigious "BDX" (BADDog Excellent) degree. Most graduates are ready for their Canine Good Citizen test. Classes are small, and focus on:
- Basic behaviors, big-dog style
- Sit stay, down stay
- Expanding the social circle - hanging with people and other big dogs
- Getting loose - polite leash walking
- Come when called, come what may
- Performing under pressure - the distractions of life
Advanced Citizenship - 5 weeks
For dogs who've graduated from RUFFians, or an equivalent program, Advanced Citizenship is all about proving yourself in the real world. We work on improving your skills with exercises meant to help you build distance, duration and distractions. Learn to do all the basics under virtually any conditions. Sharpen your skills with games and competitions designed to enhance your learning experience with a huge dash of fun!
Basic Clicker - 7 weeks
For dogs 1 year old on up (or graduates of Little Rascals), Basic Clicker will teach you how to use this amazing little tool to train in ways you never thought of before. Clicker training gets you faster and more reliable results than any other style of training. Because it's most easily understood by your dog, he'll have fun and make you proud!
Slackers' Club - 4 weeks
"Quit jerkin' me around!" BADDogs don't like hauling their people down the street anymore than the people enjoy getting dragged, BUT who knows how to do it better? RUFFians graduates take loose-leash walking to new levels. Execute flawless turns and patterns. Anticipate your person's every move. Take extended walks with your human and nobody gets hurt! Navigate your way gracefully through the shopping mall, city park, soccer field or downtown Corona like a precision dance team. Slacker's Club participants learn the skills necessary to achieve these and even greater heights...
Total Recall! - 4 sessions, meeting every other week
For RUFFians graduates. Come when called, period. No matter what the distraction, come away from fun, food and other distractions as soon as your momma calls. Chasing a jogger? Chasing a Porsche? Moutain bike? Cat? Whether you're on a dead run in the opposite direction, or munching cat snacks in the litter box, Total Recall! graduates come scurrying back to their favorite human right on cue.
Game Night! - 4 weeks
For RUFFians graduates. Learn 3 new games you can play with your friends, dogs included. The first half of each lesson is spent learning the skills your dog needs to play the game, then we play a practice game. The final class is conduted 'tournament style', with all participants playing the games, with prizes and adulation for the winners.
D'Jump D'Dog! - 1 90-minute session
For any dog. Does your dog jump up to greet you? Knock you down? Ruin your clothes? Well, it's time for D'Jump D'Dog! In one single 90-minute session, we can teach you all the skills you need to help your dog learn more polite greetings, and eliminate that jumping up thing for good. It works, totall, and in the nicest possible way!
