You may find trainers offering positive reinforcement and ‘motivational’ training programs, but please be careful about what you’re getting! Positive reinforcement trainers do not use choke collars, pinch/prong collars or shock collars, and they do not incorporate corrections, punishment, fear or intimidation into their programs. If you find your ‘positive reinforcement’ trainer is using any of these tools or techniques, you’re not getting a positive reinforcement program!
